What We Do

Any house can be designed and built as a Lifetime Home.

BuilderFish® believes every house, regardless of style or geographic location, should be a Lifetime Home, efficient and convenient for any person of any age or ability. Your home should be user-friendly and comfortable from "5 to 105" no matter what, so we adhere to best practices in green building science and universal design to promote both energy efficiency and social sustainability. We combat Peter Pan Housing, homes built as if the residents never change.

General contractor Jonathan Fishbeck is designated Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist by the AARP and NAHB. Also, we are a VA registered builder in Virginia and the District of Columbia for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) grant program.
